Abstract: In Tutorial 5, we delve into creating Benefits, Opportunities, Costs, and Risks (BOCR) models using Python and calculating short-term and long-term best decisions. We start by demonstrating how to create these models by importing data from Excel, either from a pre-existing model or from scratch. We guide you through filling in pairwise comparison matrices and direct values to collect judgments, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the decision-making criteria. Next, we explore the steps to rate the Benefits, Opportunities, Costs, and Risks of each strategic criterion using defined scales. This rating process is crucial for determining the priorities within the BOCR models. We show you how to use the filled-in questionnaire in Python to calculate accurate totals and priorities, giving you a clear picture of the model's results. Finally, we move on to integrating the results of the BOCR models to derive both short-term and long-term best decisions. This includes using an Excel template to facilitate the integration process and calculating the final decisions.
